The Beis Medrash is an advanced post-High School Yeshiva program. Three
levels of Iyun Shiurim are given daily, and the afternoon and night sedarim
are devoted to Bekius. The daily schedule includes two weekly Mussar Shmuessin.
The student body is composed of WITS graduates who have chosen to stay
on in the Yeshiva Gedolah, graduates from other Yeshiva High Schools,
and Talmidim from Yeshivas in Eretz Yisroel who have returned to the United
States to continue their learning. Yeshiva Gedolah students may attend
university part time. Credits earned within the Yeshivah Gedolah program
are transferable to the Marquette University program in Milwaukee and
other participating colleges.
The presence of the Yeshiva Gedolah greatly enhances a high school student's
experience at WITS. Through their devotion to Torah learning and living
- including the time they spend as Chavrusas with their younger counterparts
in the high school evening Seder - they serve as positive role models
for the high school students to emulate.
In addition, other opportunities for close association between the Beis
Medrash and High School students occur during meals, in the dorm, and
during free time. The WITS Beis Medrash takes its role as "big brothers" seriously.
They recognize the important difference their relationship can make in
the development of a younger boy and are prepared to do all they can to
enrich the total experience of the high school students.
